Wissant

There's one place in France where we can admire the British coast. The place is called Wissant. It's a seaside commune in the Pas-de-Calais department. For those who know the Second World War history, it will be the great way to combine business with pleasure. What's more, we can learn how to fish out in a traditional way and taste some local specialities. You can also swim in the North Sea.
It's just great, isn't it?

March of the Giants in Douai (Fête de Gayant)

The history of the Giants dates back to 16th century. Every year in July the enormous parade passes through the streets of a medieval town of Douai. Thousands of tourists can admire 5 grand effigies carried by a specific number of their porters. The father, Monsieur Gayant, measure almost 28ft (8,5m) and weigh 370kg, his wife is a somewhat smaller and measure a little over 20ft (6,25m). Cauliflower Patties

Today i'm going to give you a simple recipe to make a cauliflower cutlets . Ingredients: 1 cauliflower 3 soup spoons of breadcrumbs 1 egg 2 cloves of garlic pinch of salt and pepper Preparation: Cut cauliflower into florets. Wash it carefully. Boil the water and cook the florets for about 20 minutes. Place it in the bowl and start to stir all ingredients together (chopped garlic, breadcrumbs, egg and spices - remember to cool the cauliflower first). Shape this mixture into round patties. Fry until they are slightly browned. Serve hot or cold. Enjoy your meal :)
